If there is a God, why is there hurt and pain?

It might appear that there is no end to the suffering, hurt and pain in this world.

In the beginning God created a perfect world, full of life – without death, disease, pain or suffering.  However when sin was introduced by Adam and Eve through their disobedience so did the natural state of a perfect world change so much that what we see today is only a reflection of the world that once was.

Of course, also none of us can say that we have not disobey God in our own lives (Romans 3:23, 1 John 1:10).  So all of us in a sense share in the blame of what we see around us.  God, however, in his great mercy has promised not to leave his creation suffering alone. (Revelation 22:23)

what does god promise?

Guide you – He has a plan for your life (Proverbs 3:6)

Help you through temptation… remember temptation is not sin, only when you give into it (1 Corinthians 10:13)

Take care of you – Your Heavenly Father wants you to trust Him even when things are difficult (1 Peter 5:7)

Give you strength to life for Him (Philippians 4:13)

Love you with an everlasting Love
